2013. New image

An international concept is being worked on and the new corporate image is presented. Piel Canela, upon realizing that there is a market eager for unique products and with the variety and quality of Mexican leathers worked by the qualified hands of our artisans, decided to create a top leather line: "A Flor de Piel", entering the market deluxe. In this line, some products were presented such as passport holders , notebooks , organizing boxes , wallets, travel cases, among other products.

The reopening of Boutique Polanco was also carried out, completely renovated in a new luxury concept with Mexican materials, such as wood, molcajete stones and furniture designed especially for the brand, presenting innovation with furry leather products. We are invited to participate in the Book of Mexican Design, Event with the Association of Spouses of Diplomats.

2014. Textures of Mexico

Entry into the fashion sector with new products: backpack, belts, scarves. Innovation was made in quilted products and laser engraving.

With laser engraving we present the “I am Mexican, my skin is Canela” collection and the “Barro Negro y Encaje” collection, both inspired by handmade work, transferring this art to objects that we can carry on a daily basis. such as passport holders , notebooks , organizing boxes , card holders, among other products, thus projecting the beauty of Mexico.

We prepared the Canela Experience at the Polanco Boutique, to present the fascinating world of leather goods and its history that, since the beginning of humanity, has evolved. At Piel Canela we create a tour that takes us into this fascinating world of infinite possibilities for working with leather, where accompanied by a master leather craftsman we allow ourselves to be surprised by the mastery they have to work and transform leather into luxury objects, each one with its own personality. being created with skins of different textures and colors. accompanied by a master leather craftsman to learn about the different leathers and in person you will appreciate the characteristic colors and textures. Hence our value proposition has always been to create unique and custom-made objects.
